Charlecote Park is a wonderful Tudor house and landscape deer park that is owned by the National Trust.
Home to the Lucy family since the 12th century, the family still reside at the house and their history can be followed by viewing the many wonderful portraits and paintings that adorn the walls of this beautiful Tudor property.
The gardens were landscaped using inspiration from ‘Capability’ Brown and are a formal arrangement of borders and planting. There is also a woodland walk that can be enjoyed and you may even get a glimpse of the fallow deer that have wandered the grounds since Tudor times.
